The Deutsche Theatertechnische Gesellschaft (DTHG) is a professional association and network for all those who work in technical and artistic areas of cultural production. Its members are experts who design stage spaces in close dialog with artists and develop effective and technically safe solutions - and have been doing so since 1907! The focus of their work is the transfer of knowledge: At the trade fairs, regional group meetings and local regulars' tables through lectures and direct dialogue, in the DTHG Forum as a knowledge database with specialist information, in the educational stage with various further training courses. Through the long-standing and close cooperation with the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media on topics such as digitality or construction and renovation, the DTHG has already been commissioned several times to implement aid programs for creative artists as a funding agency. Members of the DTHG gain access to a large network of industry professionals and their comprehensive expertise, receive the Bühnentechnische Rundschau free of charge, and benefit from many discounts at events, in the educational stage, in the DTHG job exchange, and in the book market.
